As the artist of this piece, what was your main objective?
My main objective was to break up my picture into polaroids and make it look like I'm holding one of the polaroids.
What tools did we primarily use for this project?
I used the rectangular marquee tool to make the polaroids, the pen tool to make a selection of my body and the move tool to move the polaroid where I wanted them.
What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?
Getting the perfect selection of my body because the selection was always a bit jagged so I had to use the pen tool to make the curves to make it look natural.
What tools or techniques did you choose to use to remove your background? Were there some tools or techniques that worked better for you than others?
I used the pen tool to get the curves of my body because when I used the polygonal lasso tool the selection came out jagged and choppy.
What are the advantages of using a Layer Mask to create and organize your Polaroid Shapes?
The advantages were that the layer masks aloud me to move around the polaroids on my picture and not cut my picture when I moved them.
